I now have the final set of blueprints. From what I can gather, Andrei designed was some sort of underground construction in order to keep the Tower stable. There are a lot of unusual notes and markings that I can't quite make out. I need to get these to Aglaja right away.
After strugging past ambushes and chokepoints, I finally reached the west part of town. There's total chaos here! Arsonists throwing their flaming bottles at everything that moves, and soldiers shooting wildly. I better stay hidden.
Bachelor: Here, have a look. I got the blueprints for the tower base.
Aglaja: So, this miracle machine of ours works like a lever, a rod that drives the poisoned blood up from the ground? Very symbolical. There is a certain logic to it, just like the rest of the town. You look surprised, Bachelor.
Bachelor: Why a lever?
Aglaja: The local workers and engineers, under the direction of Andrei Stamatin, manages to find some way to drive a very long rod deep into the ground. On this rod the egg of the Polyhedron is attached.
Bachelor: But it was constructed quite a long time ago. Why did the disease break out only now?
Aglaja: I think it has something to do with changes in the soil. After years of pressure, the very earth itself gave way and opened up a new and poisoned vein. I am sure the Elders inside the Abattoir know something, but they refuse to tell me their secrets directly. But we have now found the source. I congratulate you on your victory, Daniel. Tomorrow is the last day.
Bachelor: It is a victory for both of us.
Aglaja: Tomorrow, there will be a meeting in the town hall. Meet me there.
Summary: Day quest 11 completed and even more mysteries encountered. Something serious is going to happen tomorrow, but we still have a couple of side missions to take care of first.
