[griff]
"Griff is certainly living large, even if he has to spend all his days hiding away in a warehouse. He even has his own throne! No wonder he got so angry when Braga didn't obey him."
Griff: Tell me, doctor! When you go to sleep each night, do you have any nightmares about all the dead?
Bachelor: I don't have to take this from you, Gryph. Your bandit rebels are not around anymore.
Griff: Yes, it's probably better not to get in your way...
Bachelor: Give me what you promised me.
Gryff: I keep my word. This should make you happy! There's the money.
Bachelor: Don't cry over losing them. I'm sure they'll be back in your pocket in no time.
[rifle!!]
"Griff is selling a lot of useful items, although one in particular got my attention. An army rifle, in perfect condition! Maybe Griff will get his money back sooner than he thought. I will have to keep a look out for rifle bullets, but if I can secure a decent amount of those then a rifle could come in handy in case of an emergency. Hmm, where does he find all these weapons? I think he'd just smirk at me if I asked him."
[travel]
"After navigating my way between the warehouses, I head northeast to see if I can get that Cathedral key. It's on the way to Alexander's house, so I should get it over with as soon as possible."
[where's dude :I]
"The man with the key should be here somewhere. Why was it given to someone who lives inside an infected district anyway? You'd have to be mad to stay in your house when the mold starts creeping up the walls."
[vapor clouds and plagues n shit]
At least I know how to keep myself safe. These strange vapor clouds are only a threat if you aren't paying attention.
Ah, that man over there might be the person I'm looking for. Although, he doesn't seem well at all. He's shouting to himself.
[u ok]
Young Man: Dankovskiy, at last! I was looking for you. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you, that we admire your bravery. You risk going into this hell! You... You've done well. Thank you.
Bachelor: Calm down! Why did you look for me here?
Young Man: I have the keys for the Cathedral. Big Vlad says that you are going to make a refuge there?
Bachelor: Yes, that's what we are going to do.
Young Man: You know, our Cathedral... Well, I do not want to howl about painful memories. Right, for this is an unique chance to create something new instead. Perhaps then a miracle will happen!
Bachelor: Fine, just give me the keys.
Young Man: Then I am taking my leave. I wish you good luck as well!
Bachelor: You don't seem well. Why don't you come with me?
[what]
"The strange young man then proceeded to run straight to the nearest house wall and started gnawing at the strange mold. I tried to drag him away but he just started flailing at me and screamed even louder. I couldn't stay in the infected area for long, so in the end I located a patrol guard and ask him to take care of the man.
It's like everyone in this town really are mad, even without the Sand Plague. Well, at least he did give me the key before freaking out."
[saburovs now or whatever but seriously what the fuck]
Alexander Saburov: We'll introduce order here with an iron hand!
Bachelor: Gryph states that he has nothing to do with the robberies. There is a violent faction of criminals, "the Shavers", that has been expelled from Gryphs community. They have taken up weapons.
Alexander: Are you sure?
Bachelor: He swears that he has forbidden everyone who stays faithful to the old traditions of their brotherhood to even touch a knife. It's the supporters of a man named Braga the Shaver who does the killing.
Alexander: Yes, I have already heard that name. It's his people that staged an ambush near the boiler-house and killed the patrolmen I sent there. We must catch or kill him. It's better to catch him alive, of course, so that we can interrogate him. Then we can see if he confirms what Gryph told you.
Bachelor: I have ruined one of their hideouts already. Everyone I found there is dead, but I do not think Braga was among them.
Alexander: Perfect! We'll burn out the criminality with hot iron.
Bachelor: It's only a half measure. Some say there are hundreds of robbers already. Even if just a few of them go out and roam the streets each night it's a big problem.
Alexander: They are urged by despair. A bad example is turning ordinary townspeople into murderers. Fear is our weapon. As soon as they see what ruthless punishment we deal to the murderers, they'll think twice before touching a knife again.
Bachelor: If only you were right...
Alexander: I want to compensate you for your exploits. I hope you will accept a sum of money. I'm sure that with all the danger you are facing, you'll be able to put it to good use.
Bachelor: Thank you. I'll accept anything that you can give.
Task Completed: Robber's own posted:
The result from this bloody storm was pitiable. The patrolmen suffered a grave defeat. But a lot of the Shavers were killed too. The robbers are exhausted, and that is why I could successfully attack the den of Braga and gain a glorious victory.
We do not yet know if the measures I have taken will have much of an effect on the amount of robberies and murders, but this demonstrative punishment should make it harder for the bandits to convince more people to join them.
[cleared zone!]
"Victor Kain was right! This whole area used to be completely infected by the Sand Plague, with lots of red mold covering the houses and the streets. But now there's not a trace left!"
[...]
"I smell something strange in the air, though. It's as if there's a fire nearby. There's also a hint of gasoline. I can't see any smoke anywhere, but I better keep alert. Victor said there were marauders around, so I will keep my gun ready."

"Preparing for a fight, I entered the house."
[crowbar!]
This crowbar should be a good piece of evidence to show Victor Kain. I can report back to him with the good news!
Any part of the city that has been infected will after some time be totally cleaned out when the plague doesn't have anything left to kill. What you get then is called a Locked Up district. It's marked with black on the map. These districts will have some guards, generally near the edges.
Within these areas, you can find robbers and other enemies even during the day, so you need to be very careful. However, the main thing about them is that all houses are unlocked and there are Marauders inside them. Marauders attack you with their fists, but have no ranged attacks at all. Due to their high agility and fast attacks, they are almost impossible to safely fight with a knife, so you will probably want to use the revolver. It works great at short range, although you should aim properly to make sure you don't miss when the Marauders do their forward/backward jumps. If you get caught reloading you are pretty much dead.
There's always one enemy at the bottom floor and one at the top floor, and they will not attack you at the same time. You can find LOADS of goodies inside the houses, including clothes and food. There are also quite a few needles and other trading items. The crowbars you get work like the razors from the robbers, although they are worth 2 points instead of 1. All this combined with the fact that you can fight at any time of day makes this the best way to spend extra time.
Summary: We have gotten our reward from both Gryph and Alexander after killing some of the robbers from the breakaway faction of The Shavers. In total, this gave us 15000 extra cash to spend.
We have got the key to the Cathedral, although the man who held on to them for us bugged out and his pathing broke. Ehm, I mean that he went insane from the Sand Plague! Yeah, that's it.
The previously infected area is clean, but filled with enemies. If you want to vent your frustration, you can go there and kill and steal with the full support of the community. Yay!
We're almost finished with the day, so next time we'll head to Victor Kain and then Big Vlad. I doubt we'll have that much spare time today, but I think all in all we achieved quite a lot.
