"The tower will remain. The dear price for its continued existence has
been paid in full. Such a thing will never be created again. If we
wouldn't have saved it today, we could never have replaced it. It's not
just a building, but a sign. The final blow to the weak nature of
superstition and so called tradition. A refutation of the false truths
of our cursed epoch. This fragile rose on its thin stalk holds our
future. The town will be demolished and with it the plague, and so I
shall settle my accounts with the Authorities for their hypocrisy. When I
return to the capital they will have no choice but to uphold their
broken promises. They were so sure I would fail, but on this day I have
finally beat them at their own game."
